Have you thought about using the bus to do a walk? There are lots of beautiful circular walks along the route of the 65 bus (for example this short walk round Trellech – www.visitmonmouthshire.com/things-to-do/23-trellech-village-p1504471). But you can also arrange linear walks by using both the 65 and the 69 buses. Today I caught the 65 bus from The Narth to arrive in Monmouth at 9:30, and then the 69 bus at 10:10 from Monmouth to Tintern. I had time for a quick cup of coffee while waiting!
